Independent Reading Novel Deadline

Seventh grade advanced language arts class has an independent reading component.  At the beginning of the school year, your student was provided with an Independent Novel List and was given information about the independent reading requirement.  Book talks were also given in class so that students could make informed decisions about choosing a book.

All students in Advanced Language Arts 7 must read one (1) book from the list and complete a short test over the book.

The deadline for taking a test for Quarter 1 is Thursday, October 26.

A test grade of “0” will be entered for any student that has not taken a test by that date.

Students who had not taken a test by Thursday, October 12, 2017, were given a letter that must be signed by a parent or guardian and returned on Friday, October 13, 2017.  Detentions will be assigned to students who do not return the letter on Friday.  The detention will be scheduled for Tuesday, October 17 from 2:25 – 3:00 p.m.
